These Terms of Service govern your use of the OK? iOS app and this website. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.

1. Service overview

OK? provides daily check-in reminders and optional alert email features. Features may change over time to improve reliability and user experience.

2. Eligibility

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with applicable laws and platform requirements.

3. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information only if you choose to enter it.
Maintain the security of your device and any accounts you use.
Use the app in a lawful manner and do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.

4. Alerts and limitations

If you enable alert emails, OK? will attempt to send an email to your chosen contact when you trigger or miss a check-in. Delivery can be affected by network availability, email provider filtering, device settings, or other external factors. OK? is not an emergency service and does not guarantee delivery or response.

5. Privacy

6. Intellectual property

The app, website, and associated content (including text and design) are owned by OkCheck.app. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or discontinue access to the service if required for security, compliance, or maintenance reasons.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates when the latest version took effect.

10. User-generated content & community guidelines

OK? Team allows users to send messages, check-in notes, and SOS alerts within teams. By submitting any content through the app, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your content complies with these guidelines.

Prohibited content. You may not post, send, or transmit content that:

Is abusive, harassing, threatening, or intimidating toward any person;
Contains hate speech or discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin;
Is sexually explicit or pornographic;
Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
Contains spam, commercial solicitation, or malware;
Impersonates another person or entity; or
Violates any applicable law or third-party rights.

11. Content moderation

Reporting inappropriate content. If you encounter a message, check-in note, or user that violates these guidelines, you can report it directly within the app by long-pressing the content or user and selecting "Report Message", "Report Member", or "Report Check-in Note". This opens a pre-filled email to team@okcheck.app. You may also contact us directly at that address at any time.

Blocking users. You can block any user by long-pressing their name in a member list or message and selecting "Block Sender" or "Block Member". Blocked users' messages are hidden from your view. Blocked users are not notified of the block. You can review and remove blocks at any time in Settings → Blocked Users.

Review process. All reports submitted to team@okcheck.app are reviewed by OK? Team moderators within 24 hours. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Remove the reported content;
Issue a warning to the offending user;
Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the offending account; or
Report the matter to law enforcement if required by law.

We are not obligated to monitor all user-generated content proactively, but we will act promptly on reports received. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these guidelines.
